Josephine Attard (Prifysgol Malta), Tove Giske (VID Prifysgol Bergen Norwy), Tormod Kleiven (Prifysgol VID Oslo Norwy). Cyfranogwyr. Nod Prosiect EPICC (Rhagfyr 2016-Awst 2019) oedd sefydlu arfer gorau mewn addysg gofal ysbrydol ledled Ewrop.
Cyd-gynhyrchodd 31 o addysgwyr nyrsio/bydwreigiaeth o 21 o wledydd Ewropeaidd a thros 60 o randdeiliaid chwe allbwn newydd pwysig:
1) Diffiniadau y cytunwyd arnynt o ‘ysbrydolrwydd’ a ‘gofal ysbrydol’ ar gyfer addysg nyrsio/bydwreigiaeth yn Ewrop.
2) Pedwar cymhwysedd gofal ysbrydol craidd (‘Safon Addysg Gofal Ysbrydol’), o’r 54 a nodwyd gan Attard et al 2019, ar gyfer asesu myfyrwyr nyrsio/bydwragedd
3) Matrics Safon Aur ar gyfer Addysg Gofal Ysbrydol yn amlinellu'r ffactorau sy'n helpu/llesteirio datblygiad cymhwysedd gofal ysbrydol o'r astudiaethau peilot a hydredol uchod.
4) Pecyn cymorth gyda gweithgareddau i gefnogi addysgu a dysgu myfyrwyr.
5) Rhwydwaith a 6) Gwefan ar gyfer rhannu arfer gorau.
Effaith yng Nghymru
Mae'r Safon EPICC wedi'i mabwysiadu ar draws yr holl raglenni nyrsio cyn cofrestru o fis Medi 2020.
Bydd myfyrwyr nyrsio yn cael eu hasesu drwy
Ddogfen Asesu Ymarfer Cymru Gyfan Unwaith i Gymru 2020 a Chofnod Cyrhaeddiad Parhaus ar gyfer Rhaglenni Nyrsio Cyn-cofrestru.
Mae allbynnau EPICC yn helpu i baratoi aseswyr myfyrwyr.
Mae Safon EPICC yn un o ofynion gorfodol y cwricwla bydwreigiaeth newydd ac o gontractau cyn-gofrestru 2022 a gomisiynwyd gan Gwella Addysg Iechyd Cymru ar gyfer parafeddygon, deieteg, ffisiotherapi, therapi galwedigaethol, therapi lleferydd ac iaith, podiatreg, radiograffeg ddiagnostig a radiotherapi therapiwtig ac oncoleg, ymarferwyr adrannau llawdriniaethau, meddygon cyswllt a phob rhaglen gwyddor gofal iechyd PTP.
Mae offeryn o Becyn Cymorth EPICC (2Q-SAM, Ross & Mcsherry 2018) yn helpu Tîm Rhoi Organau De Cymru i ddarparu gofal mwy tosturiol sy'n canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn ac i reoli sgyrsiau hynod heriol Ynglŷn â diwedd oes, gan gynnwys rhoi organau a phandemig COVID-19.
Mae allbynnau EPICC yn helpu i baratoi'n well fyfyrwyr nyrsio, bydwreigiaeth ac iechyd cysylltiedig cyn ac ar ôl cofrestru ar gyfer gofal ysbrydol sy'n canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn mewn prifysgolion yn Awstria, yr Iseldiroedd, Gwlad Pwyl, Norwy, Malta, Portiwgal, Kenya. Mae addysgwyr nyrsio/bydwreigiaeth o chwe chyfandir yn defnyddio'r allbynnau mewn amrywiaeth o ffyrdd.
Rydym yn cysylltu â'r Coleg Nyrsio Brenhinol, rhanddeiliad EPICC, ynglŷn â diweddaru adnoddau gofal ysbrydol Coleg Brenhinol y Nyrsys 2011 yng ngoleuni tystiolaeth EPICC.

Mae Bwrdd Caplaniaid Gofal Iechyd y DU (2020) Spiritual Care Competences for Healthcare Chaplains t33 yn mabwysiadu Safon EPICC ar gyfer rhoddwyr gofal ysbrydol nad ydynt yn arbenigwyr, yn benodol nyrsys.
Mae

European Association of Palliative Care White Paper for the education
of multidisciplinary palliative care practitioners across Europe yn hyrwyddo 2Q-SAM (Ross & Mcsherry 2018) o Becyn Cymorth EPICC fel 'arf gwirioneddol effeithiol sy'n galluogi pobl i ddarparu gofal ysbrydol'.
